Give back & share: Disabled and Dangerous, a heartfelt heist

It’s time to share the laughs with Disabled and Dangerous, a heartfelt heist

Two young Canadian brothers, our cousin’s sons, have made a funny movie with the help of a whole community of people. The more views, the more people we make happy.

The crazy idea for a film about three guys in wheelchairs robbing a bank developed from the need to raise funds for ALS awareness. Barry Varga, the creator behind the idea for making a comedy about a bank heist, has been living with ALS since 2008, but Barry’s sense of humour is alive and firing on all cylinders. Disabled and Dangerous is the outcome of that hilarious perspective.  Barry met with young filmmakers, brothers Kyle and Levi McCachen, and after a whirlwind of preparation and community enthusiasm this funny re-imagining of the classic buddy movie was born. We love how the movie asks us to give back by donating to the ALS Society of Alberta.

Give back & share: Disabled and Dangerous, a heartfelt heist

Since its premier in June 2012, Disabled and Dangerous has won the hearts of audiences in three New York film festivals, capturing the audience choice award in the famed Iron Mule Comedy Festival this October.  Now, get ready to join in the laughter again and share Disabled and Dangerous far and wide helping to make it the “heartfelt heist heard round the world.”

So give back and share: Disabled and Dangerous, a heartfelt heist!
