Women In Innovation #STEM at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

We were so honored to recently moderate with our co-founder Grace Fedele, our Women In Innovation: #STEM panel hosted at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society National Headquarters on 10/18.

It was so interesting to discuss Women’s Empowermen with (in order of appearance):

  • Debra Barker : Executive Director of #theleukemiandlymphomasocietyCTWestchester Chapter who made the introductions since the Man Woman of the Year Campaign hosted the panel
  • Arjan Eenkema van Dijk: Ceo Founder InspireShift which is a Boutique leadership consulting firm offering Exec, Career Coaching& Organizational consulting; consulting for the Stanford University Clayman Institute for Gender Research and its center for the Advancement of Women Leadership
  • Heather Cabot: Co-Author Geek Girl Rising; Adjunct Professor at Columbia University Journalism School; and Angel Investor
  • Cheryl Einhorn: Creator of The Area Method; author of Problem Solved about decision-making; founder of CSE consulting; Adjunct Professor at Columbia University Business School
  • Gwen Nichols: Chief Medical Officer of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; MD
  • Lucie Guernsey: Financier of Media & Entertainment for 25+ years

The panel discussion ranged from “how can we empower more women” to pursue leadership roles in corporations to the issues of gender equality being debated in the Hollywood movie Industry. This is a much watch video to help inspire and lift up both our daughters and sons. Perfect for Thanksgiving Holiday viewing with the family.
