The WWE is on a world tour and continuing their Make a Wish charity campaign. WWE Champion John Cena granted a wish in Down-Under (Australia) by surprising Rhys Moorfoot at his home with an invitation to a live WWE show. One of the great things our family likes about the WWE is that they do so much social good here in America and now they are spreading the good cheer all over the world!

The wish was with Starlight Children’s Foundation as part of the Circle of Champions initiative. WWE’s Circle of Champions grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses who desire to meet their favorite WWE Superstars and Divas. Since 1982, WWE Superstars have conducted more than 6,000 meet-and-greet sessions with sick children in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, Germany, France, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.

WWE grants hundreds of wishes a year by partnering with various wish organizations including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Kid’s Wish Network, the Rainbow Connection, Sunshine Foundation of Canada and A Wish with Wings in North America and internationally for Dreams Come True, Rays of Sunshine the Willow Foundation and Starlight. So far this year, WWE Superstars have granted 57 wishes and hosted 40 wish families at WrestleMania 29. Last year, WWE Superstars granted over 120 wishes. John Cena is on a mission to beat last year’s record!
Most important of all, the WWE’s social good work allows us to teach our children valuable life lessons about how important it is to help others.
