Bucket List Art is something we save our pennies for and the Rye Arts Center Painters on Location is renowned for featuring a variety of works that you will want to collect. Our family buys art that has special meaning to us such as a work created by a friend, a piece featuring a special place, or a canvas marking a special occasion.
A Bucket List Art Event
Growing up in a family of artists, we find art feeds the soul while creating a happy home. Recently, when we moved around the country, some dear friends presented us with a painting of the town. We were so touched:what a perfect gift to cherish forever! Thus, we are so looking forward to the opportunity to shop for Bucket List Art of our town created by local artists.
So mark your calendar for Saturday, September 28 for the Rye Arts Center Painters on Location silent and live auction viewing and reception starting at 5pm. Join your neighbors and friends to celebrate the scenic beauty of Rye with over 40 professional artists for a one day A Plein-Air Paint-Out.

Bucket List Art: Dragon Coaster by Rye Artist John Clark
The wonderful gallery committee even set up the silent auction early so you can head to the Rye Arts Center this week, Monday thru Friday from 10am-5pm and Sat 10-1pm to take a sneak peak. A special surprise is that the team of professionals includes artists from Blue Sky Studios known for the animated family movies Rio and Ice Age.

A special thanks to all who worked with us on committee, helped out with social media and to Helen Gates and Holly Kennedy and their wonderful team at RAC for making it all happen!
