Open for business since September 24th, Blue Tulip Chocolates at 137 Purchase Street will hold its Grand Opening Celebration this Sunday, October 20th.

At the Grand Celebration on Sunday, October 20th, Blue Tulip Chocolates will offer free hot chocolate and chocolate samples. While watching a chocolate making demonstration, customers can enter an hourly raffle for a chance to win a wide range of exquisite hand made chocolate platters, bars and confections.  A grand prize of a chocolate making workshop for 5 valued at $450 will be drawn at the finale of the celebration:

A graduate of the professional Pastry & Baking Arts Program at the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC, and Ecole Chocolat’s Master Chocolate Program training at the Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy in Belgium, Owner Diane Holland has led a successful chocolate business for over five years and has delighted people with her exciting and elegant artisan chocolates for over 20 years. What makes Blue Tulip Chocolates unique is that they are handmade in special small batches for each customer. Diane creates each delicacy by combining exquisite chocolate from France and Belgium with fresh Vermont cream, French or Irish butter and the finest ingredients.

At Blue Tulip Chocolates, the menu will feature hot chocolate, coffee, cake pops, mini cupcakes, desserts, boxed & bagged chocolates, custom chocolate bars & chocolate confections for any and all occasions.  The professional chocolatier team can design elegant hostess gifts and party favors or can cater desserts, private parties and weddings.  The signature events are the in-store chocolate decorating workshops, which make wonderful birthday parties for teens or a great night out for adults.  Diane’s workshops emphasize her simple philosophy: only use the best ingredients, time-tested recipes and beautiful designs.
