We discovered an extraordinary cause that can truly inspire our daughters–Reverse the Course founded by Mary Grace Henry at only 12. Reverse the Course, LLC and Reverse the Course Foundation are dedicated to directly impacting lives by assisting girls in under-developed communities attend school. The story of the charitable cause is so amazing that we just had to lift it directly from the website. Meanwhile, at age 6, our daughter loves the headbands and is so proud to help girls in need receive an education.

Mary Grace, thanks for reminding us of a guiding principle of our great nation:

“Never Doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”  Margaret Meade

 Mary Grace’s Story

“Hi, I’m glad you are visiting my website.

I’m Mary Grace, founder of Reverse The Course; it is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Foundation. If you have a minute, I’ll tell you my story.

Beginnings

I am like a lot of girls. I have a brother and sister and am lucky enough to live in a nice house and go to a great school. I am also like lots of kids who do volunteer work through their school or church or with their family. Only I wanted to do something that made more of a difference.  I wanted to change one person’s life somewhere in the world. I just did not know how to do it.

…Fast forward to May 2010. I sent my first check to a school in Uganda, and two girls found out they would be able to attend high school. (My mom cried.)

One person really, really can make a difference — but this is about so much more than one person.”  To read the full story click on this link….
