I got the pleasure of seeing the 3rd installment of the #FantasticBeasts franchise, #SecretsofDumbledore, last night with my mother and best friend. We laughed, gasped, and cried! Leading the film was the always impeccable Eddie Redmayne, as well as an impressively star-studded ensemble including Jude Law and Mads Mikkelsen, who took on the role of Grindlewald as a replacement for Johnny Depp in a way that stayed true to the character and added more depth to the story. Returning to the film, are the beloved creatures that follow main character Newt around in his suitcase and pocket, including the adorable Teddy the niffler, and tiny Pickett the Bowtruckle. The plot of this film is thrilling, with action sequences that will have you on the edge of your seat but paired with hilarious moments that will take your breath away. Many unanswered questions from the original series and the two prior movies are resolved in this film, including speculations about the series’ most beloved characters, Albus Dumbledore. This movie is a must-watch for any potter-heads, as well as any muggles looking for entertainment and a fun time!
