Can’t wait for our flight to LA to enjoy SummerSlam Axxess on Saturday and Sunday and then the main event on Sunday Night at 4pm.  We are taking our ten year old tween for his birthday and can’t wait to live vicariously through his enjoyment. Bonding with him will make memories for a lifetime.

So please follow our adventures on Twitter at @skconcepts and #wwemoms. Tweet us what photos you want to see and we will do our best to cover. Plus, it is not too late to come join us! Here are the plans:

Saturday, August 18

SummerSlam Axxess – The ultimate WWE fan experience at the Nokia Plaza at LA Live!  Great family fun. Tickets are still available at ticketmaster.com

2 sessions:  11am – 3pm and 4pm – 8pm

Sunday, August 19

SummerSlam Axxess – last session 11am – 3pm right before SummerSlam

SummerSlam  – doors open at 3pm, live event time at 4:45pm, Pay Per View begins at 5pm PT/8pm ET: Buy it here: www.watchwweppv.com

Why not make Sunday night a SummerSlam Family party with great recipes from Food Network Host Melissa d’Arabian? The rest of our family is planning a fun gathering back in Texas. Also, don’t forget to enter the contest to win Melissa’s cookbook here.

Meanwhile, we can’t wait to hear about the good works of the WWE in Los Angeles:they are conducting Make A Wish hospital visits, holding a be A STAR rally and honoring the Military. The National Guard will be on hand at Axxess and we are looking forward to saluting them.  WWE’s civic programs create opportunities for discussion with our tween about important life topics while teaching lessons about being a good citizen. As parents, we truly appreciate the life lessons for our children.

Finally, we can’t wait for the debut of the new children’s show WWE Saturday Morning Slam on August 25th at 10am on the CW. Watch our tweets for more details soon!
