Burbio.com is a calendar platform for local communities that was conceived by Westchester residents Julie and Dennis Roche, who have a background in both marketing and start-ups. Being the parents of four teenagers, Julie and Dennis know how complicated scheduling can get. Burbio can stream all of a community’s school, library, non-profit and kids’ sports information in one place. It automatically updates when schedules change, enabling all residents to synch to a digital calendar. Burbio’s innovative automated technology has allowed it to expand rapidly, and it has gone from just four towns in August of 2015 to over 75 today. Burbio is proving popular across all demographics, from parents with school-aged children to community leaders to volunteers and active residents of every stripe.
Burbio.com has really helped us manage the busy schedules of our own family, and everyone finds it very easy to use. We are so very impressed by Julie’s and Dennis’s active profile in our community and the support they’ve offered to local residents. They recently co-sponsored the International Women’s Day Women in Emerging Digital Media panel discussion at The Rye Arts Center. Congratulations to Julie and Dennis on their innovation!
