WWE Wrestlemania Reading Challenge
When we attended Wrestlemania in Miami last year, we were very impressed by all the wonderful literacy programs that WWE supported. Superstars visited local schools with gifts of books to encourage children to make reading a life long love.
So you can imagine how thrilled we were to learn that WWE is sponsoring the Become A Reading Superstar Wrestlemania promotion in cooperation with the Pearson Foundation. To fully understand the programs details, the site features a wonderful how to section for parents. Each time your child read a book, they have an opportunity to win a trip for two (2) to WrestleMania, a free library of books for their school, as well as the chance to have a WWE Superstar visit their school! We have never seen our children read books so fast.
However, we must say that “The Shark Attack” book definitely freaked us out although it fascinated our boys. Meanwhile, we enjoyed reading The Snowy Day with our 7-year-old daughter. The good news is that the book selection has options for every reading level and child. The best point of all is you can read online so the books are accessible and free for every child!
