Building upon yesterday’s blog about more women watching professional sports than ever before, another interesting sport that we find our female friends watching is the World Wrestling Enterprises (WWE).  They love watching the sport with their tween and teen boys. These women realize that the WWE provides family friendly PG entertainment while also presenting great opportunities to bond with their boys. You can catch the sport twice a week with Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw. Watching sports has been a great way for Dads to bond with their sons during the teen years when they are no longer cool. So why not moms?

WWE has allowed us to reach out to our tween son in new ways every day. He knows the name of every character and their history in elaborate detail. His friends can recite the same. As a group, they even discussed how WWE’s John Cena set a Make-A-Wish record granting his 300th wish to seven year-old Jonathan Littman. (See the Good Morning America Clip ow.ly/bIFl5). When the friends tell their moms about the great charity work of the WWE including the Anti-bullying campaign be A STAR, the moms start watching too. Now, we are all hooked. So hooked that during our son’s 10th birth day sleepover party, the friends filmed their own WWE wrestling movie.

So do you need a way to bond with your tween?  Attend the WWE Mom Twitter party  Today, June 27th at 10PM EST at #WWEmoms. Come join the community and chat about the WWE and you could even win some great prizes like T-Shirts, DVD’s or the grand prize, a Kindle! RSVP:http://ow.ly/bRd9y
