Video Technology Has Evovled: Move Quality Content Is Now Affordable (Google Images)

Technology has revolutionized Video

Technology has really revolutionized video production in our lifetimes. We remember from early in our careers, the national sales meetings of consumer packaged goods companies who paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to glamorize the introduction of new Aspirin products with huge splashy video presentations. Then only a few months ago, we attended the end of year presentation and rally by Rush Soccer where five different video screens in a Houston mega-church transported an audience of thousands through the season’s favorite sports moments.  The most amazing part of the rally was that mostly parent volunteers from the mega-church auxiliary ran the show.

Why 4K?

Small business, not-for-profits, schools, sports leagues and churches are now required to provide high value entertainment or education for their audiences to remain top of mind.  Live Video has become a critical marketing tool. So why shouldn’t everyday business people have access to the movie quality production of 4K which is ultra high-definition (HD) television viewing?  4K means 4x smaller pixels than HD (4096x 2160) which produces the sharpest, crispest and richest picture possible.

4K Provides Movie Quality Content

Simple & Easy for Everyday Use:

Over the years, we have worked with the expensive and heavy cameras of local TV studios and sport teams.   The equipment is not easy for many volunteers to operate, especially petite women, even when on tripods. (Our biggest fear was if a camera dropped we would have to mortgage our house!) Now, the light (only 7lbs) and easy to grip PXW-Z100 is the perfect solution for local TV stations, sports teams, schools, medical universities, small corporations and civic and church groups who want quality professional video but do not have big budgets. The camera is simple enough for  volunteers to handle shooting and production easily and single-handedly.

At a $6,500 suggested list price, the camera is 1/3 of the usual cost of  normal professional equipment and comes with a professional microphone. In addition, if existing viewing equipment is HD compatible, the camera can crop to HD providing even crisper footage. Moreover, the camera supports HD recording capabilities such as slow motion & quick motion fitting into today’s HD content creation and editing systems.
